Luxor, is a city on the east bank of the Nile River in southern Egypt. It’s on the site of ancient Thebes, the pharaohs’ capital at the height of their power, during the 16th–11th centuries B.C. Today’s city surrounds 2 huge, surviving ancient monuments: graceful Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple, a mile north. The royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens are on the river’s west bank.

The Luxor Museum displays artifacts recovered from many of the tombs, while the Mummification Museum sheds lights on mummification techniques. The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is backed by towering cliffs. Traditional felucca sailing boats, cruise ships and hot-air balloons provide trips on or above the river. Many of the modern hotels and restaurants in Luxor overlook the water.

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor, to start your tour to Luxor in the west bank where you will visit Valley of the Kings, which was used for burial, there are many kings buried in this valley. After that you will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years, the only woman who reigned ancient Egypt, then you will discover the colossi of Memnon. Then you will Move to the east bank in Luxor, during your tour you will have your lunch meal at a local restaurant, then you will continue driving to visit Luxor Temple, then visit the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in the history, for God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. At the end you will be transferred Back to your hotel and overnight in Luxor.

Our representative will pick you up from the hotel to the East Bank of Luxor, to visit Luxor Museum which display pottery, jewelry, furniture, and statues were created by the Brooklyn Museum of New York. after that driving to visit the Mummification Museum which contains everything you would ever want to know about mummification. The ancient Egyptians believed that in order for a person to reach heaven it was essential that both their body and their name remained so their Soul would be transported from one life to the next. During your tour you will have your lunch meal at a local restaurant in Luxor. At the end you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for final departure. Your flight has to be after 12:00 at noon to be able to do this tour.
